I initially met with In-Affordable Housing to find out what steps I needed to make to prepare to purchase a home. I had never bought a home before and wanted to know what my options were. One of the first things we did was review my credit report. After seeing what was actually on my credit report, Mr. Isom told me what I needed to do to get a few things corrected.

After I took care of the credit issues, I went through the 1st Time Home Buyers Class. I was really surprised to learn the different options I had when working with mortgage companies. I was able to purchase my new home without the use of the down payment or closing cost assistance. I really appreciate all the guidance I received from In-Affordable Housing.

While working at a mortgage lending institution, one of the staff members recommended that I met with Roma Isom to attend the 1st Time Home Buyers Class and to represent me in finding a new home to purchase.

During the house hunting process, I suffered a total fire loss at my apartment which displaced my family. This made the process uncomfortable but Mr. Isom aggressively sought out my new home.

I was so impressed with what I learned in the class and the services that In-Affordable Housing offers that I decided to help them and serve our community by volunteering during some of my free time.
